I understand it’s still the first week since Style Sage’s birth and this is my second post about men’s shoes, don’t worry, ill try to phase them in slowly. On that note, one shoemaker you defiantly should be aware of is Lodger, who in my opinion literately has some of the finest shoes around. I had the chance to pop into the store on Clifford Street the other day, and found it a superb and relaxing place to peruse on a pair of Brogues. There site is tailored to the modern gentleman, creating a “Shoe of the Month” to inspire a change of sole. Lodger take shoes seriously, by showing a brand new shoe each month, creating shoes fit for every occasion. Shoes are individually made and unique, apparently they scan your feet to ensure they create a pair that fit like a glove.
My favourite shoes are in this image I shot below, they have remarkable Brogues in different styles, really worth a look if you’re that way inclined. “Women always want to show their newest purchase, Mens always want to show their oldest”, so my advice is to make a pair of timeless Lodgers your oldest.
The footwear currently holding the “Shoe of the Month” title is the Lodger desert. Apparently inspired by sandy shorelines, this multi toned Desert Boot is made from fine calf suede. The perfect for the summer weekends ahead, probably not great in the rain though…
