J E Harvey-Kelly is a London based tailor offering beautifully cut made-to-measure suits, jackets, trousers and shirts. James himself has featured on Style Sage before, here, and also in a sketch here. I bumped into him a few times when I was in London with Lodger, while he was at Trunk, and have always appreciated his appetite for menswear. A lot of people love tailoring, but few also have an eye for it as well. By looking at the shots of his suits below you can see he is clearly the latter.
James offers a delightful range, from formal double breasted suits in heavy English flannels, to half-lined, soft-shouldered, casual summer suits in cottons, linens and even denims. His cloths are primarily from the Italian mills Loro Piana, Zegna and Ariston as well as English staple Dugdale Bros & Co, all fully canvassed and hand-finished.
