My love of Alice McCall began with her prints. This seasons collection seemed to be a little lacking in that department – but what lacked in colour was made up for in an array of really interesting textures. I love a beautiful sheer blouse, there’s really nothing sexier in my opinion (when worn right). This design below in pale peach with its bellowing sleeves, pearl-buttoned bib and crepe fabric took my breath away.
This was the single print (below) that dominates the new collection, and a departure from the usually more bold, pastel tones of last year. This particularly Autumnal print featured throughout and the palette seems to have inspired the texture and tone of the rest of the collection.
